CIDETEC, project coordinator, hosted the KaRMA2020 final meeting, which took place from 28th to 29th November 2019 in San Sebastian (Spain). The consortium gathered for the last time to discuss the many exciting results achieved in the framework of the feather waste exploitation at industrial level achieved from January 1st, 2017, when the project began. Partners, besides providing the overview of all the achievements accomplished in every WP, offered a special attention to the samples of products realized during the 3 years of activities (see photo). The aim of KaRMA2020, in fact, is to develop innovative bio-based products for high impact cross-sectorial markets, such as bio-based composites with different mechanical properties, spun bonded non-wovens, fertilizers, PU paints with flame retardants, bioplastic trays and more.
