The 8th of Novembre 2017, KaRMA2020 will be present at WASTE MATERIALS MANAGEMENT AND EXPLOITATION Expo Area within the 21th Edition of ECOMONDO, the leading Euro-Mediterranean area green and circular economy expo that will be held in Rimini, Italy. The project will be represented by CiaoTech who will take part at the session “Resources from waste: innovative solutions and environmental outcomes towards the implementation of a Circular Economy” dedicated to the topics concerning the environmental implications of different waste treatments, the implementation of platforms for the exchange of resources and the application of industrial ecology approaches and practices of industrial symbiosis. During this session, Anna Franciosini will present the preliminary results of the Stakeholder and Market Analysis that the CiaoTech team, thanks to its innovative strategies and tools, collected for the project EU-funded project “KaRMA2020: Industrial Feather Waste Valorisation for Sustainable KeRatin-based Materials” (http://www.karma2020.eu/)
The session will be coordinated by Fabrizio Passarini, (University of Bologna) and Lucia Rigamonti (Politecnico di Milano) and will attract important stakeholder such as R&D performers, representatives of institutions and local authorities, consulting engineers and professionals, waste treatment industries and companies delivering environmental services.
